Northeastern graduates its students with the least amount of student debt among Midwest regional universities, according to the 2021 edition of U.S. News & World Report’s annual “Best Colleges” publication. Northeastern also ranked in three other categories among Midwest regional universities.

Emmy Award-winner Geoffrey Baer will host a new WTTW program highlighting Northeastern’s Avondale location. The show premieres at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 7.

For the eighth consecutive year, Northeastern has received a Tree Campus Higher Education recognition from the Arbor Day Foundation.

Campoverdi, author of “First Gen: A Memoir,” will speak at Northeastern’s Commencement on May 10.

The lecture will take place at 3:05 p.m. Jan. 30 in the Recital Hall on the Main Campus, 3701 W. Bryn Mawr Ave. in Chicago.
 

��ɫ��Ƶ is proud to welcome  as the keynote speaker for the 10th Annual Mossadegh Servant Leadership Lecture. His talk, titled, “Constitutional Experience and Travails of Parliamentarism and Governance in 20th century Iran: Retrospectives on Mossadegh and the National Movement,” will be delivered twice on Thursday, April 25 on the Main Campus, 5500 N. St. Louis Ave. in Chicago, with receptions to follow. 

The Chicago Film Society and Northeastern kick off their 22nd season of collaboration on Wednesday, Jan. 10, in the Auditorium of the University’s Main Campus.
 

The Fourth Annual Asian American Heritage Awards Gala Program will be held Friday, April 11 from 5-9 p.m. in Alumni Hall. Awards categories give recognition to alumni, students, faculty and staff. The program is an opportunity for the Northeastern Asian American community to celebrate the accomplishments of Northeastern graduates.
