Federal Benefits for Veterans

The Veterans Services Office is the point of contact for veterans, active duty military members, and dependents wishing to utilize their federal VA education benefits. The following is a list of federal education benefits that can be used at ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµ, hyperlinks lead to basic eligibility requirements for the specific benefit.

VA Pending Payment Policy for Students Using Federal VA Benefits

¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµ will not prevent a student’s registration or enrollment if that student is receiving federal VA education benefits and ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµ has not received payment from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. In addition, ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµ will not assess a late penalty fee to the student, require that the student to secure alternative or additional funding, or deny the student access to any resource (e.g., access to classes, library, or other institutional facilities) that is available to other students who have satisfied their tuition and fee bills to ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµ.

However, to qualify for the above provision, such student may be required to:

(1) Present a by the first day of class, and (2) submit a written request for enrollment certification (by using the ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµ Veteran Request for Certification form), as well as provide any additional information needed to properly certify the enrollment as described in other institutional policies. All documentation should be provided to the ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµ Veterans Services Office.
